MA1814 - Grande Sonnerie repeating carriage clock with alarmA fine French carriage alarm clock, with grande sonnerie, circa 1870. Particularly impressive is the striking. A choice between grande sonnerie, petite sonnerie or silence. A corniche cased clock striking on gongs. Enamel dial with Breguet hands. The 8 day classic movement stamped with a trademark for V.R. Breveté Paris. No: 112150 still has it’s original silvered lever platform escapement with temperature compensating screwed balance.
