C1242 - Synchron - London Master Clock

A genuine piece of South African Railroad history. Around the 1920’s this Synchron Master-clock - made by one of the finest London manufacturers at the time - was imported and installed in the Johannesburg station by E. Nicole of “Troy watch", a prominent Watchmaker & jeweller in Johannesburg at the time.
It was the clock that controlled all the slave clocks in and around the station.”
